Firstly, a migration plan was strategized and executed to transfer data, metadata, and other content from existing SharePoint on-prem version to SharePoint online using Sharegate tool. 

Secondly, a custom application was developed using SPFx, SharePoint, and Power apps to include all the required functionalities of a claims processing system. 

Thirdly, the application was integrated with Power BI, Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft AI to provide unique reporting and dashboard experiences to customer relationship managers, data analysts, and other important stakeholders. 

Finally, an automated solution was built around Power Automate RPA to leverage the claims data management application in streamlining the entire claims processing system. 

To summarize, a collaborative, highly secured, compliant claims data management application was built around SharePoint and SPFx, allowing the client’s insurance customer to improve its legacy old claims processing system.

The company was soon able to provide a user friendly, multi-functional experience to its client in the insurance industry. The solution not only allowed the company to enhance its position in the market, but also increase its customer base. 

The company soon recognized the potential of SharePoint as the most efficient and credible platform to develop a digital wealth management application. However, lack of employee skillset, poor internal IT infrastructure, and budget constraints prompted the bank to outsource its application development project to a third–party vendor. AQL, with its 15+ years of custom application development and SharePoint services was unanimously chosen by the bank’s higher authority for providing required support. 

AQL’s team of expert consultants soon sprang into work by developing a detailed understanding of the bank information architecture and existing technologies. A migration plan was strategized and executed using Sharegate to transfer all data and applications from legacy Lotus Notes infrastructure to the cloud –based SharePoint environment. A centralized document management solution was developed using Microsoft SharePoint with custom search feature.

To summarize, AQL’s team of developers, designers, testers, and project managers worked together with the bank’s IT department to develop a customized wealth management application around Microsoft SharePoint and Nintex.

Within a record time of 3 months, the company was able to provide a personalized and seamless single channel wealth management experience with instant advisory and self-managed investment capabilities. The application was beneficial both to the customers and financial advisors in terms of ‘what if’ scenarios, reporting capabilities, portfolio assessment, advisory processes, and more. Integration of the application with other in-house applications and automated workflow processes provided a seamless financial support to customers. 

In fact, a streamline wealth management system resulted in a whopping number of 2000 customer acquisition per week, faster accounted opening time, about 70% reduction in trade processing costs and many more.

After thoroughly analyzing the firm’s business profile and goals, we decided that Microsoft SharePoint would be the ideal solution to address these challenges. To tackle the problem of sub-optimal document and records management, we first created a robust content management strategy. 

We also audited the firm’s data and organized it into the correct document libraries to ensure that nothing gets duplicated or worse, lost. Then we implemented a customized SharePoint solution and started the content migration process. The solution would function as an inter-department ‘Intranet’ that would enable staff across multiple locations to share documents and collaborate effectively.

We implemented a custom search solution with Microsoft Search to help users easily locate and retrieve information on SharePoint. Further, we implemented SharePoint’s advanced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) feature to identify, monitor, and protect sensitive information, and introduced Microsoft Azure Multi-factor Authentication for added security. After completing the implementation and migration, we conducted training for staff to bring them up to speed with the new solutions and get on speed with Microsoft cloud.

Several business process applications were re-developed using SPFx, Power Apps & Power Automate.  

In tandem with SharePoint, we also implemented other Microsoft solutions such as Teams, Office 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to provide the firm a comprehensive and scalable digital ecosystem that would support their future growth.
